Covel Commons – UCLA Horizon Ballroom
The workshop will be held in the Horizon Ballroom of the Covel Commons in the heart of the Sunset Village campus of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). The Grand Horizon Ballroom is a stunning 6,000-square foot conference venue featuring a 40-foot projection screen and a wall of windows framing a panoramic view of the UCLA campus from an adjoining terrace. NAATBatt is grateful to the faculty and students of UCLA for making this outstanding facility available for our workshop.

The workshop networking dinner, which is optional for attendees, will be held on the evening of Tuesday, November 18, at Plateia restaurant located in the UCLA Luskin Conference Center, 425 Westwood Plaza in Los Angeles, a short walk from Covel Commons. Plateia serves Mediterranean-inspired California cuisine featuring locally sourced products such as seasonal fruits and vegetables, artisanal cheeses, and sustainable seafood. Most importantly, the dinner will provide an unparalleled opportunity for networking with leading companies and experts in sodium and zinc battery technologies.

UCLA is conveniently located in West Los Angeles near the Interstate 405 and Interstate 10 Freeways, providing easy access from communities throughout Los Angeles County and cities throughout California. Parking at UCLA is available at a number of parking structures throughout campus most of which have daily parking rates. The closest major parking structure to Covel Commons is Parking Structure 7, located at 336 Charles E. Young Drive North, Los Angeles, CA. Visitors may park in designated pay station parking areas. Once parked, go to the nearest parking pay station to purchase duration of parking time needed.
