Eighth Annual NAATBatt Workshop on Lithium Battery Recycling
NAATBatt International held its eighth annual Lithium Battery Recycling & Lifecycle Management Workshop on July 29–31, 2025, at the Peppermill Resort in Reno, Nevada. This in-person event brought together stakeholders across the battery value chain to explore the technical, economic, and regulatory dimensions of battery lifecycle management.

Seventh Annual, Two-Day Lithium Battery Recycling Workshop
NAATBatt International, the trade association for advanced battery technology in North America, convened its seventh annual workshop on lithium battery recycling on August 7-9, 2024, at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec. The program focused on the challenges of and opportunities for recycling lithium-based batteries and the regulation of such recycling in Canada and the United States.

NAATBatt Workshop on Rechargeable Sodium-Zinc Battery Technology
NAATBatt International, the trade association for advanced battery technology in North America, held its sixth annual workshop on zinc battery technology and its first annual workshop on sodium battery technology as a single, two-day program on November 30-December 1, 2023 at the University of Houston in Houston, Texas. The program examined scientific progress and commercial opportunity in two battery technologies that may soon seriously compete with lithium battery technology.
