Networking Dinner on Wednesday, August 7 (SOLD OUT)

The networking dinner will be held at the historic L’Auberge Saint-Gabriel restaurant in Old Montreal. A gourmet dinner of French-Canadian food plus beer and wine will be served for a fixed price of $115.00. Attendance is limited to 150. See the “About” page for more information about the dinner.

Tour of Becancour Battery Industrial Site (SOLD OUT)

On Friday, August 9, 2024, participants will travel by bus from Montreal to Becancour, Quebec, to tour the battery industrial park in Becancour and meet with some of the companies located there. The bus leaves from Concordia University at 9:00 a.m. and returns to Concordia University at approximately 5:00 p.m.

Meet the Recyclers Virtual Presentation(Required)

Each NAATBatt member that is a Tier 1 Recycler (i.e., in the business of acquiring and processing lithium-based batteries, manufacturing scrap or black mass using pyro- hydro- or direct recycling technology and selling the output as a recycled product) and registers at least one employee for the workshop may post a video or Powerpoint listing on the workshop website. Companies posting a “Meet the Recyclers” presentation will be identified on site at the workshop in order to facilitate meetings with interested attendees. If you choose this option, you will receive an e-mail from NAATBatt with instructions about how to upload your video or Powerpoint presentation onto the workshop website. The $25.00 fee is non-refundable. Only eligible NAATBatt member firms may choose this option.

Tabletop Exhibits.(Required)

Breakfast, lunch and breaks during the workshop will be held the foyer of The Center. NAATBatt will provide up to 5 draped tabletop display areas for companies looking to promote their products and/or services at the workshop. The cost per tabletop is $1,500.

Discussion Group Leader.(Required)

On the afternoon of Wednesday, August 7, the workshop will divide into five discussion groups. Each will be led by a discussion group leader, who will give a short report to the plenary session about what was discussed in his or her group. The cost to be a discussion group leader is $500. One leader per group; first come-first served. NAATBatt will contact you if you are selected as a discussion group leader.

Cancellations

Workshop registration may be canceled with full refund (less a $50 processing fee) provided written notification is received by July 12, 2024.

A 50% refund is available for workshop registration provided written notification is received between from July 13 – 31, 2024.

No cancellations will be accepted after July 31, 2024, after which date all registration fees shall be non-refundable. Substitution of registrants, however, is permitted without charge.

In the case of an emergency/extenuating circumstances, special requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis by the NAATBatt leadership team following the workshops.

All fees for sponsorship and exhibitor packages are non-refundable.

Substitutions

A registrant may transfer his or her registration to another employee of his or her company without charge at any time prior to August 7, 2024. To request a substitution of your registration, send an e-mail to [email protected] and include in your e-mail the name, company, job title, e-mail address, physical mailing address (no P.O. boxes), and mobile phone number of your substitute attendee.
