Green Graphite Technologies

Green Graphite Technologies was founded in 2021, with the goal of being the leading global solution for producing battery-grade graphite from mined natural flake graphite, recycled Li-ion batteries, and Li-ion battery production scrap.

With Li-ion battery usage on the rise, the need for high purity graphite rises with it. There is currently no commercial-scale natural flake graphite purification plant operating outside of China, and Li-ion battery recyclers are focused on recovering cathode metals, not graphite.

GraphPure™ and GraphRenew™ are low-cost, modular, environmentally-friendly patented technologies that, through licensing, can be rapidly adopted around the globe.

American Hyperform, Inc.

American Hyperform, Inc. (AH) is the solely owned consulting company of W. Novis Smith, PhD dedicated to the improved recycling of lithium batteries. The AH has patented technology in the US, Canada, and Mexico for the extraction of lithium battery black mass and NIMH black mass. AH holds additional patents for the up grading of BM extraction metal sulfate solutions to preCam and Cam materials for different NMC ratios.

AH has recently received a new US patent for the separation of cathode materials from anode carbon contained in black mass from new production scrap and out of specification EV batteries for the direct recycle back to the starting battery cathode material. This patent is based on flotation separation. It is the lowest cost process way to recycle black mass from LFP batteries to produce directly recyclable LFP cathode material directly back to the production of LFP batteries (a current concern).

AH is directly solving technical problems in the lithium battery industry which include patents in process for:

  1. The sodium sulfate problem
  2. Practical lithium recovery from lithium anode batteries
  3. Practical fire resistant electrolytes for lithium batteries
  4. Non smelting recycling of lead acid battery paste

AH expertise is based on Novis Smith who has been in the lithium recycling for over 27 years almost the beginning and 15 years separate experience in lithium chemical research.
Let's discuss your problem.
